- Description / Abstract
- This webinar learning activity provides a comprehensive overview of vaccine assessment in community pharmacy practice. Building on the ongoing clinical experience of community pharmacists providing seasonal influenza and COVID-19 immunizations, this program seeks to expand the knowledge of pharmacists to assess and recommend both routine and recommended immunizations for high-risk patients. In this 75-minute educational program, pharmacists will learn how to successfully interpret routine immunization schedules and apply evidence-based immunization clinical practice guidelines to address patient immunization gaps. At the end of this program, pharmacists should be more familiar with routine immunization programs, how to assess patient immunization records, and how to address immunization gaps in their community pharmacy practice.
