- Every day in practice pharmacists counsel and educate people with asthma and COPD. Many of these patients are not reaching guideline recommended outcomes due to not being on the appropriate medication, not adhering to their regimen or not using their device correctly. With quick and simple interventions, pharmacists can make changes that have been shown to reduce exacerbations, hospitalizations and improve quality of life. This session will focus on the practical asthma and COPD issues seen every day by pharmacists.
