- Insulin icodec is the first once-weekly basal insulin available in Canada, authorized for by Health Canada in 2024. Drawing on real-world experience and clinical data, this lesson helps pharmacists to determine if insulin icodec is appropriate for their patients with type 2 diabetes and if so, how best to manage and optimize medication adherence.
