- This webinar focuses on Natural Health Products (NHPs) for cold and flu prevention, tailored for Canadian pharmacists. It provides the latest evidence-based practices in cold and flu prophylaxis. Participants will examine the efficacy, safety, and mechanisms of action of key NHPs, including ginseng, vitamin D, and echinacea. Attendees will acquire strategies to counsel patients effectively, address misconceptions, and enhance patient outcomes through the appropriate use of NHPs. Moderated by Sherry Torkos (BScPhm, RPh) and Jean-Yves Dionne (BscPhm, BMus), the session incorporates case studies, polling, and a live Q&A to foster active learning and engagement.
