Description / Abstract: The Certified Diabetes Educator Preparatory Course has been developed to provide a comprehensive diabetes education review. The course has been develop to prepare healthcare professionals who are eligible to write the Certified Diabetes Educator Exam. Please note that this course is not affiliated with the Canadian Diabetes Education Board. In addition, completion of this course will provide participant with the knowledge and expertise required to conduct a Diabetes medication review (MedsCheck). Learners must successfully complete this course in order to receive the certificate. Modules can be completed in any order. To successfully complete the course, learners must pass all post-module assessments.
