Description / Abstract
The purpose of this course is provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the patient care process with special emphasis on patient assessment. This course will define the importance of patient assessments and highlight important frameworks to help conduct assessments (such as the Chat, Check, Chart (CCC) model and the Indication, Efficacy, Safety and Utilization (IESU) model). This course also discusses how to develop patient care plans to address drug related problems, conduct appropriate follow-up and monitoring and complete documentation. Case scenarios are integrated through the course to help consolidate course information.
