- Description / Abstract
- This two-module course provides an overview of the 2021 Canadian Cardiovascular Society Guidelines for the Management of Dyslipidemia for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease in Adults. Case scenarios are used to help learners apply the guidelines in community pharmacy practice, and a demonstration video outlines the steps in teaching a patient how to self-administer a PCSK9 inhibitor subcutaneously. Learners will explore real-life individual patient experiences with lipid lowering therapies by watching two lived experience videos.
