Description / Abstract: This course supports Ontario pharmacists with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to prescribe for 33 minor ailments, including the 19 minor ailments within the scope of practice for Ontario minor ailments prescribing in 2023, plus the proposed additional 14 minor ailments that are expected to be added to Ontario’s scope of practice. Each module includes eLearning presentations, assessment and treatment algorithms, and patient assessment and prescribing forms. This is a modular course totalling 50 CEUs: Patient Assessment module (2 CEUs), First 13 minor ailments module (19.5 CEUs), Additional 6 minor ailments module (8.5 CEUs), Additional 14 minor ailments module (20 CEUs).
